I have spent many hours studying, listening, reading, and researching metabolic health, insulin resistance, and nutrition. Again, I am not a nutritionist, I am not a doctor. I do spend a lot of time searching for reputable professionals to learn from. I am sharing the sources I have used to unlearn my preconceived ideas regarding nutrition and relearn what actually works for my metabolic health and wellness. As I read and learn more, I will update my resources list. One of the most empowering things you can do for yourself is take the time to research and learn and truly understand. No matter what your belief system is, you should take the time to explore the topic deeply so you can remain strong in your conviction. That’s the only way I’ve been able to maintain a specific diet lifestyle. I would not have been able to cut sugar and ultra processed food out of my life if I didn’t take the time to understand why it was important.
